Best Of

A blog is like a TV series. Only without the budget, writing team, actors, network, and all the many resources that go into making an episode. On second thought, this is kind of a weak analogy. But I’ll tell you how a blog is like a TV series: like a TV episode, each post inspires people to laugh, cry, and clap their hands in childish glee when quoting the best moments to friends over coffee who couldn’t give a flying fuck. But once it’s over, the episode is gone, and only revived in the boxset or when it’s picked up for re-runs. But since a blog doesn’t have the option of selling a boxset, its most brilliant online moments run the risk of fading into the obscurity of archived posts.

But wait. What if I could collect some of the best posts into some sort of “Best of Popingay” so that we can all enjoy those glimmers of brilliance again, and again, and again, and again? Like a CD collection of 80s music hits hocked on late-night TV infomercials?

Well, you don’t have to wait any longer! For the low, low price of free (plus $9.95 shipping & handling), you can enjoy those hits any time you want!

So here are a few of my, and your, favourite moments in Popingay history:
